Shōgun, la série médiévale au Japon de Disney Plus, sera le grande favorite de la cérémonie, aux côtés de The Bear.
Pas vraiment de surprise : annoncée comme grande favorite cette année, la prestigieuse série Shōgun se déroulant dans un Japon médiéval, arrive en tête des nominations à la 76e cérémonie des Emmy Awards. La liste a été annoncée mercredi et avec 25 nominations au total dans la catégorie des Dramas, Shōgun devance The Bear, qui cumule 23 nominations dans la catégorie des comédies, battant ainsi un vieux record détenu par 30 Rock. Derrière, c'est Only Murders in the Building qui se taille la part du lion avec 21 nominations au total. Trois séries Disney et diffusées en France sur Disney Plus (elles sont diffusées sur FX et Hulu aux USA), qui marquent une année exceptionnelle pour le groupe aux grandes oreilles, sachant que Abbott Elementary, Reservation Dogs et FEUD : Capote vs. the Swans sont aussi bien représentées.
Ceci étant dit, c'est Netflix qui détient encore le plus de nominations pour ces Emmys 2024, grâce à The Crown et Mon Petit Renne notamment et surtout aux catégories techniques. Max misera essentiellement sur True Detective: Night Country (19 nominations) tandis que Prime Video mettra ses espoirs sur Mr. and Mrs. Smith (8 nominations) et Apple sur The Morning Show (11 nominations) et Lessons in Chemistry (5 nominations).
La cérémonie des Emmy Awards 2024 aura lieu le dimanche 15 septembre. Une semaine avant, les Creative Arts Emmys 2024 se dérouleront sur deux nuits, le samedi 7 et le dimanche 8 septembre, pour décerner tous les prix techniques. Retrouvez toutes les nominations ci-dessous.
